Wilderness and the WOD: "What Did That Tire Do To You Anyway?"

Worked out the back today and had the very cool experience of watching a bobcat walk cross the driveway. Fortunately, Ocho didn't see the bobcat and chose that moment to be extremely obedient and listen when he was called into the house.

Today's quote is from Aldo Leopold in honor of our Semester in the Southwest students going to the Gila Wilderness. The Gila Wilderness was the first designated Wilderness in the United States and Aldo Leopold was instrumental in making that happen. Also, The Wilderness Act is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! Seems only appropriate...

"We abuse land because we see it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect."
